Let's go! The start date is fixed. At the end of June my new journey starts. The first two weeks I will have company. Alex, a buddy of my motorcycle group is on vacation and accompanies me through the first countries. In recent years, we have made several 1-week tours. Once we went through the Dolomites to Slovenia and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road back home, once it went to Poland and the Czech Republic.
This time we start together with Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany. There we visit familiar faces that I met in 2015 at a gas station in Romania, Heiko and Kay.
My journey will then take me to Scandinavia, Great Britain and the Iberian Peninsula before hopefully going overseas to the new continent.
In the remaining days the last preparations are made. The luggage is checked again and looked if everything is ready and what can be improved. The last adjustments on the motorcycle are made, cameras mounted, maps updated for that sat nav, all papers put in order ...
In the meantime, the articles for my little webshop are also available. There are T-shirts in the sizes S, M, L and XL, there are engraved multitools and stickers. Each Sold brings me a few miles further on my way around the globe.
